Located adjacent to Pier 39 on Fisherman’s Wharf, San Francisco’s Aquarium of the Bay is a captivating attraction for children, teens and adults that offers a personal glimpse of the magical underwater realm. At Aquarium of the Bay, you can visit touch pools with sharks, rays and starfish, then stroll through 300 feet of clear tunnels that house over 20,000 marine animals. Discover the ecosystems of the Bay Area, and meet some of its most dynamic residents, including moon jellyfish, sevengill sharks and a giant Pacific octopus. This San Francisco aquarium is open seven days a week (closed Christmas Day) and tickets are $18 for adults and $10 for children (ages 3-11) and seniors (65+).
