Family Sundays & Free Family Days
Explore and create art, travel to virtual worlds, discover hands-on activities, and be inspired on Family Sundays. Family Sundays feature family-friendly gallery tours and special kid and teen programs, from movie screenings to book readings. Kids 12 and under get in free every Sunday, from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m., with a family tour at 1 p.m. Offered three times a year, Free Family Days provide a cultural gateway to the entire museum and include fun activities, exhibitions, performances, films, and book readings for the family. You can also join the Mods, a club for kids. Families get in free when you join!
SFMOMA Tours
SFMOMA offers exciting guided and audio tours that provide engaging experiences to learn about modern and contemporary art. The museum offers daily public tours by knowledgeable docents (free with admission). Audio and multimedia tours give visitors the opportunity to explore the galleries on their own pace. Private guided tours can be customized for groups of 10 adults/students or more. The museum also offers school tours and summer youth tours for camps and youth programs.

Is there dining at the SFMOMA?
Yes. CaffèMuseo offers a casual, modern dining atmosphere with fresh, organic food. Enjoy traditional Mexican and Yucatan Peninsula cuisine, including grilled seafood, chicken and steak dishes, tortas, paninis, quesadillas and salads. The café is open daily (except Wednesdays) from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., and until 9 p.m. on Thursdays.
Blue Bottle Coffee Bar offers freshly-brewed coffee drinks and art-inspired cakes and desserts created by their pastry team in the rooftop kitchen. Feed your senses while enjoying the museum's collection and rotating exhibitions. Access to the Blue Bottle Coffee Bar requires museum admission.

Where is the best place to park?
The easiest place to park when visiting the museum is the SFMOMA Garage on Minna Street, located behind the museum and between Third and New Montgomery Street.
