Loved by locals for its eclectic mix of family fun, fashion, arts, crafts, and live entertainment, there’s no better way to spend June’s first full weekend than celebrating summer with the ones you love! At the 38th annual Union Street Festival, San Francisco shines with all the things that make the city great. Rain or shine, 6 blocks of Union, between Gough and Steiner Streets, feature 6 unique “Worlds” to explore: Culinary World, Fashion World, Tech World, Local World, Craft World, and Health & Fitness World, each offering a totally unique themed experience for all ages.
Attraction Highlights
In addition to 6 different worlds, throughout the festival you’ll also find Craft Beer and Wine Tasting Gardens with delicious food pairings like chocolate, gourmet cheese, nuts, and infused olive oils. Tasting tickets can be purchased in advance online, or at the entry booths to each pavilion. Of course, there will be tons of arts and crafts from over 150 artists, award-winning local food vendors, multiple stages of live music, and daily fashion shows to keep spirits high as well.
One of the Bay Area’s Largest Festivals
Drawing over 100,000 attendees every year, the Union Street Festival is a favorite among locals and visitors alike. If the crowds swell, just tuck yourself into the historic Victorian boutiques, galleries and eateries lining the timeless streets of Cow Hollow, the festival’s residential host district, less than 2 miles from the Inn at Union Square.
