We love farmers' markets as much as the next foodie, but we're ready for the next thing here in San Francisco. Enter the UN Plaza Friday Night Market on October 23rd from 5 to 9 pm near the Civic Center. This event has something for everyone, including those looking for family-friendly things to do in the city after the sun goes down.
The bazaar comes to life with lights, DJs, live music, food trucks and local artisan crafters selling their wares, all just in time for the holiday season.
Kids will be thoroughly entertained by face painting stations, jump houses and carnival-style games, while mom and dad take in the sights, sounds and smells while sipping on wine, beer or a cocktail.
Adults can relive their youth with a giant game of Connect Four, Jenga or a good old-fashioned bean bag toss or go straight for the street food favorites like Indian tacos or a juicy gyro.
The Friday Night Market has partnered with businesses and organizations such as the Lefty O'Doul's Foundation for Kids, Market Street Association, Deep Eddy Vodka and Gold Dust Lounge!
Say "so long" to the sun, and get your shopping done under an SF night sky.
