San Francisco Botanical Garden
A gorgeous outdoor collection of plants, flowers and trees, the San Francisco Botanical Garden is a serene attraction with numerous areas to explore. San Francisco’s mild, wet climate and coastal fog creates an ideal environment for plants from all over the world, and you’ll find flowers in bloom all through the year. Stroll through 55 acres past more than 50,000 individual plants, and enjoy quiet spaces of ponds, grassy meadows, tree groves and cultivated gardens. You can also sign up for tours and classes, and there are also information stations throughout the gardens. San Francisco Botanical Garden is known for the extensive collection of magnolia flowers, and you’ll also find a bookstore, plant sales and other special events throughout the year. Situated in Golden Gate Park, these gardens are open daily at 7:30AM and tickets cost $7.
