Walking Food Tours of San Francisco
Join Chris Milano on a "Foodie Adventure" through some of San Francisco’s most diverse and eclectic neighborhoods-Chinatown, North Beach, and The Mission, specifically. You’ll rub shoulders with local talent and talk with business owners and industry veterans. Check out what makes this city’s mouth water-sneak into kitchens, meet the cooks who keep the city fed, and most importantly-eat some of the famous cuisine.
Three different tours offer three different scenes of San Francisco. A tour through The Mission explores the colorful culinary world of Latin Americans in the city. Meet entire families of culinary institutions and hear their stories through the food they make! Tours also wind through a combination of North Beach and Chinatown, as well as a strictly Chinatown tour that makes stops at old institutions and new up-and-comers. Of course, you’ll eat food along the way, meet new friends (with shared interests, of course), and finally sit down for a full lunch at a local eatery. After stopping at a market or two, you’ll part with some gifts-tour recipes from Chris Milano, a postcard, and a sweet send-off!
Public tours are held from Thursday to Saturday and last about three and a half hours. There are four neighborhood tours to choose from, and private group and corporate tours are also available. More information on ticketing and gift certificates is available at
