Comedian Kevin Nealon developed a following as a popular funny man during Saturday Night Live in the 1980s. The first time he ever appeared on screen, he performed a stand-up act on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. Shortly after he nailed his set, friend Dana Carvey pulled some strings so Nealon could become a cast member on SNL. Performing skits together with some of the greatest comedians of this generation, this was a golden era in the long-running NBC show. Some of his most famous characters include his role in the duo of Hanz and Franz, Mr. No Depth Perception and his news anchor role on the punch line-rich Weekend Update.

After SNL, Nealon's career in quirky comedies took off. He starred in a number of films, including All I Want For Christmas, Happy Gilmore, Little Nicky, Daddy Day Care, and Good Boy. Teamed up with SNL co-star Adam Sandler, the two actors have appeared in several hilarious movies together. Aside from the big screen, Nealon carved out a niche in the television world. He started with smaller appearances on raucous sitcoms like Curb Your Enthusiasm, then landed a recurring role on Still Standing and others. In 2005, Nealon reached an even wider audience as Doug Wilson on Showtime's smash-hit show, Weeds. Appearing in 102 episodes, he was the loveable if not irresponsible neighbor who always provided comedic relief during the show's most dramatic moments.

Now you'll have the chance to watch Nealon deliver his dry-wit sense of humor in San Francisco. Head to the Cobb Comedy Club on Friday, March 6, 2015 at 8 p.m. for an evening of laughter and entertainment.
