August Hall, a new entertainment venue in Union Square, is officially open. Along with a concert hall, the venue has a bowling alley, a green room and the Fifth Arrow bar.
The building has been home to many historic San Francisco establishments, such as Stage Door Theatre, the site of the premiere for the movie "Vertigo" in 1958, and most recently, Ruby Skye.
The first set of concerts were recently announced, starting with Giraffage on April 21. Other artists that will grace the August Hall stage this spring include Madison Beer, Hot Snakes, and Yasiin Bey.
Welcome to Union Square, August Hall!
