I chose this hotel based on the excellent reviews I read and The Inn at Union Square certainly exceeded my expectations, especially when it came to service. Everyone, and I mean everyone, working at this hotel is courteous and friendly. Their friendliness and desire to please go beyond simple greetings, they take care of you like an old friend. Oh and for a first time visitor to San Francisco, I couldn't have been in a better location! Walking distance to transit and popular attractions. Room was always clean and we even got a complimentary bottle of champagne and a box of chocolates one night! Total surprise after a long day trekking in the cold and rain. I would certainly return :)

This was our third stay and we always enjoy the experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable. The evening wine and cheese is excellent and we always enjoy sharing experiences with other guests. The morning breakfast is surprisingly delicious. This is our favorite place to stay in San Francisco.

Our stay was fabulous! The front desk clerks were curtious and helpful. Amenities were abundant and the room was very clean. I definitely want to come back!
