Eat, drink, and dance Italian style in the heart of North Beach at the Festa Coloniale Italiana – a festival of Italian culture and cuisine on August 17th. Happening on Stockton Street between Union and Filbert across from Washington Square Park, the street fair lights up the North Beach neighborhood – San Francisco’s Little Italy – with live music, entertainment, Italian food and drinks, arts and crafts, and lots of wine tasting.

North Beach Italian Festival -

Stroll down Powell Street, sip world wines, eat Italian food, shop for art and enjoy live music all day – from accordion music to classic Italian ensembles like Sunday 7. Indulge in piping hot pizzas and pastas created by North Beach’s top restaurants and chefs, savor an ice cold Peroni beer, dance the night away and watch exciting cooking demonstrations.
Enjoy a fabulous Saturday afternoon in North Beach eating, drinking and dancing like a fiery Italian. Fox Trot to the sounds of the Bella Ciao band, performing Italian-American hits from the '50s and see authentic Italian tarantellas, mazurkas, and waltzes performed by the Ricco Dancers. Watch 11-time world pizza champion, Tony Gemignani, spin and toss pizza dough or go check out the Museo Italiano exhibit.
